Scott Swietanski was born and raised in Southern California at a time when his home was surrounded by orange groves and strawberry fields. The wide-open spaces fueled his adventurous spirit from an early age.
His passion for skiing started as soon as he got his driver’s license. He’d frequently make the trek to the Sierra Nevada ski resorts and camp out of his car. Scott spent 37 years working in the ski industry, starting out as a Lift Operator and working his way up to General Manager.
Scott and his wife of 36 years, Melanie, are “semi-retired” and live the warmer months in their home in the Lake Tahoe area. Winter finds them traveling in their 5th wheel trailer to warmer climates. They have two wonderful grown children they are very proud of and a Golden Retriever named Molson. Yea, like the beer.
Scott enjoys fly fishing, camping, hiking, standup paddle boarding, and anything to do with the great outdoors.
